Maja Malnar

Dr. med. dent.

– Born in Karlovac in 1984.
– She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Zagreb in 2008.

From 2010 to 2019, she worked in a private dental practice and in the national healthcare system. In 2020, she opened her own private dental practice. She regularly participates in various education and dental courses, including:

  • Education for Teoxane dermal fillers, organized by the Croatian Society for Aesthetic Medicine
  • Ankylos prosthetic education, organized by Dentsply Sirona and Ankylos
  • Basic protocol for implant placement from Nobel Biocare

With over 10 years of experience in dentistry and a focus solely on the patient, Dr. Maja is our smile creation specialist!

In her free time, she enjoys hiking and cycling with hers family.

– In 2018, he graduated from Medical School, majoring in physiotherapy.
– In 2020, she completed her education as a dental assistant at the Ambitio Institute.

Anti-aging hyaluronic dermal fillers and facial care

In our clinic, we use Teosyal RHA® hyaluronic fillers — unique on the market because they are designed to follow facial movements. Smile, speech and facial expressions remain natural and yours. Thanks to the patented “preserved network” technology, these fillers provide a natural, flexible and long-lasting result.

Teoxane care – support for our anti-aging treatments

As part of our anti-aging treatments with Teoxane hyaluronic fillers, we also use selected Teoxane dermocosmetic products for optimal skin care before and after the treatment.

Access to treatment at our clinic:
1. Individual assessment of the face – we adjust the type and volume of filler according to anatomy, skin type and desired outcome.
2. Natural revitalization – fillers fill and restore volume without rigidity, maintaining your natural mimicry.
3. Permanent effect – with skin hygiene and support with dermocosmetics (eg RHA serums), the effects are maintained for up to 15 months.

Ceramic veneers

Ceramic veneers are a permanent prosthetic replacement that today represents the pinnacle of cosmetic dentistry in the world.

Veneers are placed on natural teeth and the ceramic imitates the enamel of natural teeth. Ceramic reflects light almost identically to enamel. After veneers are placed, your teeth have a shine like your natural teeth. Veneers can also be made from composite materials directly in the office.

Ceramic veneers are used for minor aesthetic corrections, such as spacing between teeth or changing the color and size of teeth.

Composite veneers are made in situations where minor corrections to the color and shape of teeth are needed.

Zircon

Zirconia is the latest high-quality material that is increasingly being used for crowns and bridges in dentistry. This innovative technology brings numerous benefits to patients and dentists.

Zirconia-ceramic crowns and bridges are characterized by their high biocompatibility and precision. In addition, they maintain the natural aesthetics of the teeth, thus achieving a natural smile.

One of the key advantages of zircon is its mechanical resistance, which is achieved with a thickness of only 0.4 mm. This means that less grinding of the natural tooth is required before placing the crown, which preserves as much healthy tooth tissue as possible.

The precision of manufacturing (high polish and accurate fit) of zirconia-ceramic crowns makes it easier to maintain oral hygiene and at the same time reduces gum irritation.

Another important advantage of these crowns is the absence of the so-called “black rim” around the crown, which can occur when the gums recede. This is possible due to the fact that zirconia-ceramic crowns do not contain metal components in their construction, ensuring lasting aesthetics and functionality.

With all these benefits, zirconia has become a popular choice in modern dentistry, providing patients with long-lasting solutions to improve their oral health and smile.

Dental implants are artificial replacements that are implanted into the jawbone like a screw in the place where a tooth is missing. They are made of biocompatible materials.

An implant superstructure is placed on it, on which the prosthetic work, or crown, is then placed.

After the implants have completely merged with the bone, they function like natural teeth and restore a sense of self-confidence and raise the quality of your overall life, allowing you to enjoy the foods you have avoided until now!

Every Ankylos implant is under warranty and guarantees the absence of any material defects or breakage. The implant warranty is lifetime.

The warranty on the implant crown is 5-7 years, depending on the material chosen.

Bridges

Dental bridges help restore chewing functionality, improve the aesthetic appearance of the smile, and prevent neighboring teeth from moving, which can lead to additional oral health problems.

The process of making a dental bridge usually includes the following steps:

1. Preparation: If natural teeth on either side of the empty space are present, they usually need to be prepared (reduced) so that the bridge can be properly placed.

2. Fabrication: An impression of the teeth is taken to create a bridge that will fit perfectly in the patient’s mouth. A bridge can be made of various materials, including metal, ceramic, or composite materials.

3. Placement: Once the bridge is made, the dentist places it on the prepared teeth or implants and secures it with cement or other means.
